One of the many benefits of being a machinist. I got bored and made a couple of shifter knobs. I initially looked online and was shocked at the prices. I figured, screw it. I'll take an hour and some scrap and make some for nuttin'. I took one shortcut. None of the CNC's were open so I used the shift pattern plates from the original knobs. I'll engrave them when there is an opening.

Those look good! Now you just need to make some more and sell them for just a few dollars less then the ones you already found!

Thanks for the compliments. I thought the TC knob looked better too. The other knob looks huge, but it's damn comfortable. I guess the edumicted folks call it ergonomic. Thanks to city driving, I shift too much for that tiny q-tip knob that was there. I have fat hands so I need a fat knob... I thought about selling them too. I can bust out a program in the CNC and spit em out every 4 mins or so. Fast 50 bux a pop. LOL. We have been so busy here though, the time is the factor. I'll just make a couple more on the engine lathe and put them on CL. Maybe.
